I spent £7.50 on a skirt (which should have been £25 by the way :money: :D) for my mum but it's on my colleague card so she'll pay me back when the bill comes.

So personally, I only spent £26.50 on petrol, which should last two weeks.

Didn't set a target last week, this week, erm £40 - I know it seems high but I have dentist Monday which is £15.50, and I'm on holiday

  • Hi... can anyone join this challenge?
I've been pretty rubbish with general spending over the last couple of weeks. Bought some software for the pc, and spent £45 online in Boots (did get triple points tho, and free delivery:o....). If you don't include budgeted items (food, bills, debts etc), I reckon £50 Sun-Fri for me and my OH together is a good place to start... ond he's out on Wed night

moozie it looks like we have a LOT of company....party at mine! :rotfl:

it seems that most of us dfw's are having a hard time sticking to our budgets at the moment (or ever if your me!), maybe we need to find some challenge or form of motivation to help....is this just the winding down of the festive season???

me, i'm about to blow my nsd, but it's not from this weeks budget...i'm about to finish off the big list of things i set myself to do and i've still got nearly three hours till 24 starts. it's not enough time for the gym and it's too dark for the beach (unless i wanna get mugged or run over!) so i'm thinking about a walk to asda (still best part of an hour) and i'll spend the £1 i have left in my purse from last week on some munchies for me and [STRIKE]jack[/STRIKE] all the naughty dfw's...

Well I've spent £2.10 today on a much needed latte. it was a treat, but after the week i've had, i thought i could justify it. I'm going to aim to be under £20 this week. I really need to!

should you ever feel the urge...

Checking in - last week wasn't a strict "weekly" spend as I only estimated from Monday to Wednesday. As I still had around £5 in change left on Wednesday night, that's a £5 spend.

Same for this week please - a tenner!

Spends today: £21.56 on Asda shop for the entire week (including cleaning bits and bobs). So, technically, no need to spend anything this week.

But since when did "technically" actually account for much?

Break over! Back to what I was doing...

    Have a good week all.
 What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

My target last week was £50 and I went over with £57.20, BUT I got a fantastic leather jacket at work reduced from £199 to £15  so how could I not buy that?:o
My target this week will be £80 as I need to buy my monthly train ticket which is nearly £50
