  • I have tried since this promotion started with error every time i enter code..i phoned today and she said for every to phone up and complain to this number 0800 222 722 :money:
She did say it was small number who had problems..but surely it should no one..
gutted at all the weeks i missed on and the packs i thrown away..:(
  • Tried 12 different packs and not a single one has worked. :(
  • I would say that overall I managed to enter about a third of my codes successfully. However, none said that they had already been used. I eventually entered them in batches using their freephone number, and won. In my opinion, the problem was probably with the computer programme rather than the numbers having been 'poached' because they were on the outside of the box.

Do you seriously think that people would be doing that on such a large scale? Yes, I'm sure that there are people who would/do, but I doubt very much that it would be enough to create this degree of duplication.

Yes, there was a problem, and it was very frustrating, but they did have the phoneline in place and covered it. A very generous competition with a technical glitch, I suggest.

Just as a follow-up to this, Mum was notified of two/three wins on this - rather confusingly one daily and then two weeklies, on consecutive days. However, as it was the last two days of the main competition, we figured maybe theyd made a mistake and had to do an extra weekly draw on the Friday. Either that or they would simply say that it was duplicate of the message from the Thursday. Anyway, we waited, and eventually she received one weekly prize (very nice, thank you Batchelors), but no daily. The second weekly was not surprising, but we chased up for the daily prize and were just ignored by Premier Foods.

Consequently decided to pursue the matter (if only to get some sort of response / acknowledgement) and the IPA and ASA were both contacted and forwarded the relevant notificatione-mails. We have just heard this week that Batchelors claim to have no record whatsoever of the other notifications, and have sent out the only prize awarded to my Mother. Apparently the ASA simply accept that, and there's nothing we can do about it. I wonder what would have happened if two individuals had received the weekly win notifications?

Very bad show, in particular that Batchelors / Premier have made no attempt to apologise or explain the "technical error", which in fact they have not even referred to, just that they have no record so presumably Mum must have faked incoming e-mails from them.

Lovely to have a win, but as far as the rest of it goes, absolutely disgraceful.
