5 months car insurance required???
                    hello,
i need to insure my car for 5 mnths as ive just got a new job which has given me a company car. as im on probation for the first 6 mnths i dont want to sell my car incase it doesnt work out. my policy finishs on 3 march leaving me needing insurance for 5 mnths untill 31 july
the cars a 5 yr old vw polo worth 5k and ive got a private drive.
admiral multi car will add it to my partners insurance untill his renewal in 12 may for £150, expensive i thought, as id then need another 3 mnths.
do any insurance companies do monthly insurance? at worse i could leave it on the drive and sorn it. but when i sell it how would i go about getting it mot'd as it cldnt be driven with no insurance?
thanks

Yes, you can get temp insurance but it is expensive.0

Have a look at a few standard year-long policies and check their policies/charges for cancellation and refunds. It may well be cheaper to do it that way.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0

Rent a garage from the council and store it for a bit?
5t.What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0

your not going ot be driving it though?
if so you only want theft cover,no?0

laid up policy if not driving it, if will be driving it, or wish to increase you NCB, then you would be better off insuring it on the multicar policy for £150 extra 12 months and leave it at that kieep it taxed or sorn if not taxing.0
