Business Electricity Tariff

I live in a house that is converted into 4 flats. We own the building between us so are the 'landlords' of our own flats (with a 'tenants association' who pay all of the bills).
Our electricity supply for the communal areas (i.e. the hallway!) is with EDF energy. They have us on their "Deemed Electricity Product SME" tarrif as business customers - it's costing us a fortune!
Does anyone know if we should actually be deemed as a small business and be on this type of tariff? It's basically just household usage (we only have lights in the hall - there aren't even any power sockets).
Thnaks!
