On the free version of 1571 you can't - it's fixed at a nominal 7 rings.
You used to be able to, but now you have to pay an extra monthly fee to be able to change the number of rings (among the other extra features of Call Minder).0 -

You didn't say if you are a BT Customer but;
Divert time to voicemail
Change how long BT Call Minder Multi allows your fixed
line to ring before diverting to your voicemail:
• Dial 1571
• Press 3 for Settings
• Press 3 for Mailbox Settings
• Press 1 to access Divert time to voicemail
To retain the current Divert time to voicemail setting:
• Press 1
To change the time before diverting to your voicemail:
• Press 2
Four options are available:
• Press 0 for Immediate Divert - 0 rings
• Press 1 for Short Divert - call will divert after 4 rings
(12 seconds)
• Press 2 for Medium Divert - call will divert after 7
rings (21 seconds)
• Press 3 for Long Divert - call will divert after 10 rings
(30 seconds)One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Many thanks for that I will try it, I am with talktalk0

Bearing in mind that TalkTalk is only a reseller of BT lines the options should be the same but I think fwor is right. You only get to change the options if you have the Voicemail+ or whatever it's called. If you have the included/free version you can't do it.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0
