Centre Parcs Holland De Emhoff

We've just booked a week in July at this site and was wondering if anyone has any inside info on the place?

We are flying into Schiphol and taking a train to Nijkirk, still have to work out how we get the last 15km to De Eemhoff.

The 1st wierd thing was that the website says you can book 1st class train travel with bus transfer at the time of booking but on contacting reservations they tell me "It is only for Dutch people....", so why put it on the English website...

the dutch travel system is very efficient. I'm sure there will be a way.

not sure if you might want to change your user name...you are going to get a hell of a lot of junk mail advertising your email address.

Have been to Holland for a holiday with kids a few times, without hiring a car. Dutch train system easy and very reliable. Always fly into schipol and train station is a short walk across concourse from there. Taxi ranks available there too and bus services operate from the airport also. Last time was able to access dutch train timetable on the net to work out trains available as we always fly late on a saturday afternoon plus I like to know beforehand it is possible to get to our base with kids in tow! Have a good holiday - I love Holland
  • If you go to https://www.ns.nl and clik on english version, you can plan your whole journey. This is the dutch railways. It takes about an hour to get from Schiphol station to Nijkerk.
Also, on the dutch center parcs website it says that there is a bus connection to the park.
    Hope this helps.
P.S. If you need any help just contact me as I live here in Holland and speak the language( Scottish ex-pat!)

We went ot D' Emhoff a three years ago and had a great holiday there. If you can get there, the dolphinarium at Haderwiljk (spelling?) was a great day out. We found all the staff friendly and able to speak English. We loved the buffet style restaurent which had a different theme each day. Have a great time!
