Old energy supplier not refunding me my credit
I switched energy supplier back in November 2011 and have still not received a final bill from EDF. I have rang several times and each time they say we will get it sorted out for you, but then i hear nothing. When i log into my account it shows i'm £400 in credit with them, so I just want my money back. The good thing is I still have the final metre readings from when i switched, which I have given them, but at least they can't use that as an excuse.
 Does anyone know what else I can do to get this money back as it's been 3 months now and several phone calls. thanks

Welcome to the forum.
Are you now confirmed as on supply for all fuels with the gaining supplier? Did you get a request for, and provide, transfer reading(s) to the gaining supplier? (It is the gaining supplier's responsibility to send/agree the readings with the losing supplier).
On your Edf online account what is the date of the newest bill? Does that bill have the same closing reading(s) as the gaining supplier opening reading(s)? If not you may not be £400 in credit after the final bill.
If you feel all that is in order, you are entitled to raise a formal complaint at the first failure to remedy. You have had "several". If the complaint is not addressed 100% to your satisfaction within 8 weeks you are entitled to refer the issue to the Energy Ombudsman.0
