Old Cubic FT meter, These figures cannot be right?

My FIL has just had his gas bill in for of total of 92 days £353.87
No arrears, Actually slightly in credit but thats what the bill came to.
Being the old CU FT meter i do wonder if they are working it out properly. I cannot get the figures to match up.
Anyone want to try and explain how they get these figures?
Present Reading 6154, Previous Reading 5979, Consumption X100 Cubic FT = 175
Correction factor 1.0226
Adjusted Consumption. X100 Cubic FT 178.9550, Cubic Metres 506.4427
KwH = 5501
6.127p KwH.
Are these figures correct? 5500 KwH for 92 days = 2.5 Kw an hour, For a Small flat with a total of 6 rooms.
35ft x 25ft approx total floor area.
I know they like their warmth but that does seem excessive.
Thanks.

Yes the number of kwh is correct. You need to remember that in the winter months your consumption is about 4-6 times what it is in the summer months.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

You can get it for as little as 3.5p/kWh plus standing charges or even with Ebico's flat rate of 4.36p/kWh ex.VAT with no standing charges.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

As above-that unit rate cannot be correct-who are they with, and on what tariff?
Ebico come out cheapest on that consumption (which is not a full year of course), 28% cheaper at £252.
So you need to get the tariff checked out ASAP.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Billed directly from the council, Its a complex with individual flats for elderly residents. Been several complaints about the gas bills.
Anyone got a few hours spare to explain how they get those figures though? It didnt make sense to me.
I will have to look into the unit price. See what they paid last year. As far as i am aware they have not received anything in writing detailing any price increases.
