Help, so confused with everything!!
We had some loans with AL from end 90's to 2009 and have been meaning to apply for claiming back our PPI's which we were definitely mis-sold as we didn't need them due to enough security in event of any mishaps but there was no way we could get out from paying for them.
Does any body know what are the best forms to fill in for AL and who do I submit them to as AL were taken over by Santander. The part that is worrying is, is that someone told me that if we try and claim back our PPI's and if we are successful, which ever bank it is with, they will blacklist you and you can't bank with them anymore.
I'm afraid of doing this because, as it happens, Santander are our mortgage providers and I have banked with them for nearly 20 years! Typical, AL being bought over by them!
Does anybody know whether this is true or have they experienced being blacklisted by Santander for claiming back the AL PPI charges?
Cheers .... any help would be appreciated! xx
