IPOD Touch help please......

My dd has an Ipod Touch which she got at christmas from her dad.
She bought it home here and we set it up itunes/apps etc and it was fine.
About 2-3 weeks ago she said that it isn't connecting to the internet at our house.
I had a look and can't see what's wrong with it.
Her step mum has also had a go and it won't (or didn't) connect their either.
Hubby took it into an Apple shop and the guy had a play with it and it connected to their wifi no problem but it still won't connect here.
We have our router locked down by mac addresses (the ipod was added at christmas) and worked ok.
We have deleted it, added it back, have wiped it, restored it...the list goes on!
She was able to get onto a friend's wifi no problem so it must be our router - but we have no idea why it just doesn't connect - it can see the network but just doesn't lock in.
The only thing that has happened about 3 ish weeks ago, is that we had to move our router as we had a leak in the room where it was all set up (linked to our tower) and did have some problems with a pc linked in with home plugs so we have had to move it back again.....that could be the only answer but don't know why or what to check.....all other wireless gadgets are still ok including iphone and an ipad so it can't be an apple thing.
Can anyone offer any advice?
