Has anyone used Garden Buildings Direct?

Hello,

I am desperate for a bin store, we have wheelie bins for garden waste, but have to use bin bags for household waste and we arent allowed to put it out until 7am collection morning. I put my bags at the top of my garden and it is constantly opened by cats and my dog if weve had chicken!!

So I decided to look and would obv need a double one- they all seem quite pricey until I found this one http://www.gardenbuildingsdirect.co.uk/Wooden-Storage/BillyOh-Keep-it-Tidy-XL-Overlap-Storage-Unit
that seemed reasonable comapred to the rest.

I have never heard of them though so I worry, if anyone has dealt with them I would really appreciate some feedback/

Thank you:A

hi, we bought a basic 4x6 shed last year. the quality isn't great but it does what we want and if we had wanted better quality we would have spent more iykwim. they kept us updated with the status of our order by email and i was happy with the service.

  • my partner bought a 20 x 10 shed last year in July 2011 and we have had ongoing problems with it raining in, the manager stephen sparrow just keeps fobbing us off, the after service is bad and we are trying to take this futher.
  • I bought a shed from them a couple of years ago. The quality left a lot to be desired in my opinion but they were fairly cheap compared to other shed suppliers.
  • For the OP, I'm in the Lothians, 8 miles from Edinburgh, I was about to order a shed but was told it would an additional £20 for delivery and would take an extra week to get to me as I was in Scotland. I challenged this as this wasn't what they had on the website, extra charge was for Highlands and Island. So went elsewhere, from the posts above sounds like I should be thankful.

It's a long thread, but your eyes may be opened by it.

My shed man -yeah, I am needy enough to have one - tells me he's visited by grown men in tears after some of these internet purchases.

I thought he might be exaggerating a bit, but after reading the Kybotech thread, I know better.

Mind you, so should the people who buy a shed without seeing the real thing. :p
