Is a thermostatic mixer massage shower set worth it?

Want to redo my shower and wanted to know other peoples experiences with mixer sets. Are the massage mixer sets worth it? Do they feel like a massage? Or am I best getting a normal mixer?

We had a big argument about these, as I thought they were an expensive waste of time. We compromised with this shower head:
http://www.grohe.co.in/p/25_6525.html which has actually been very good. For the rare time you want the massage jets it swings down easily, but it is also a great regular shower head.

In reality we mostly just use one of the heads (you can control them seperately) and OH uses the massage setting, while I use the regular one. Looks quite good too - lots of people comment. Not cheap, but cheaper than those proper massage ones.

Just remember to flip the head back up when you are done. Otherwise you (or more likely, your wife!) get up in the morning, nonchalantly switch on the shower to warm up, and you spray water all across the bathroom - usually on full massage high pressure setting! :)

Thanks I thought so. I wont waste the money.

The freehander looks too expensive, will just get a normal mixer.

    Thanks
