WHERE YOU WILL BE: THE LAKE DISTRICT

Windermere Camping and Caravanning Club Site is situated between Kendal and Windermere, giving you the perfect position to explore and enjoy the towns and walking in this area.

The site makes the most of the rolling hills providing a spectacular backdrop to your holiday home. Often seen as the southern gateway to the Lake District, you can take advantage of this well-known walking terrain, or simply enjoy relaxing!

The site is open from March to January, giving you ample opportunity to enjoy the changing seasons in your holiday home.

The South Lakes have so much to offer, whether you are an avid walker or enjoy beautiful scenery and wildlife. For those who enjoy spectacular scenery, the nearby Dales Way long distance footpath offers great views as well as some lovely places to stop off for a well-deserved drink!

Alternatively, you may want to take the walk up to Orrest Head – said to be one of the best viewpoints of Lake Windermere. On a clear day you are offered a 360° panorama, and you can even see as far as Morecambe Bay.

For a nice relaxing day out, why not consider taking a Lake Windermere Cruise? Offering cruises from 45 minutes to 3 hours, you can take a break or enjoy a day out – the choice is yours.

Nearby Kendal has a variety of great days out, including the Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Museum of Lakeland Life and Quaker Tapestry. Alternatively, in the other direction Bowness on Windermere offers the World of Beatrix Potter, Aquarium of the Lakes and Brockhole Visitor Centre.

To enter the prize draw you need to obtain a quote or hold a policy for one of Club Care's listed Insurance products including; Caravan Insurance, Motorhome Insurance, Tent Insurance, Trailer Tent Insurance Trailer Insurance, Home Insurance, Home Emergency Insurance, Car Insurance and Pet Insurance. Only one entry per person per insurance product is permitted. Quotes for multiple products allows multiple entry. All Club Care!Insurance policy holders, holding one of these insurance products between 14th February 2012 and the closing date of the prize draw will be included within the draw. The closing date for entry into the draw is 28th February 2013. No purchase is necessary.

You will be deemed to accept these terms if you enter the prize draw. Club Care may make changes to these terms from time to time. You should check the terms regularly and if you enter the prize draw after the date of any change it will be on the new terms.
