Why use estimated when I gave them a reading??
I'm moving house so called Scottish power with a meter reading to be told I would get a bill and then to call them again on moving day with the final reading. I received my bill for 25p in dr so expected a little bill with final reading as it would be slightly more. When I called them today I have been told I owe £320 and the bill they sent was from an estimation on the 9th even tho I gave them a reading on the 7th, just wondering why they would do this what's the point in sending an estimation when they have the actual figures? They also said they have been undercharging me as there has been no change in my usage... I would have happily paid more each month

Hi gafs,
sorry to hear you are having problems with the way you have bene billed.
I can't think of a logical explanation for this if you have provide us with readings and they have not been used.
Can you e-mail me with your details and I will have a look for you.
