Building a wall in leasehold flats

Would it affect council tax if there'll be an extra bedroom? Worth looking into as well.

Even if it does, OP won't pay any extra CT. In such a case the band can only be increased when the flat is sold.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Hi all
Many thanks for all your reply.
I am concerned that if I ask the freeholder and they will say no….
All I want to build is a partition wall – nothing major…if I do not inform the freeholder, and build the wall behind their back…would they have the right to enter my flat to examine my flat (i.e. if my neighbour blow the whistle to the freeholder)? If the freeholder do find out about it, would there be any penalty or can I simply knock the wall down and restore to its original face (which I am prepared to do so when I sell the flat in the future)?
Thanks a lot!
