Cheap Kitchen Taps & Sinks

My kitchen works continue and I would appreciate some advice! I have a kitchen on order but refused to use B&Q for sinks, taps and handles as I felt the cost was too high. There are definitley cheaper alteratives on ebay but I am concerned that perhaps it would be a false economy and the chrome or stainless steel may fail…

according to the Franke website beware of some of these online sellers who claim to be selling the genuine thing, I suppose some of them are, but I guess not all of them are.
We picked up a Grohe tap for our kitchen from Costco for less than £50, and one of the quotes we got from a supplier was £150 and they showed us the tap and it looked the exact same one. I should've bought a load of them and sold them on Ebay, lol
