Avco loans

Hi all I used to have a few loans with Avco trust(i know silly me),this was around 1994 onwards.I am sure we had insurance on them but because im always shredding old paperwork i no longer have any information regarding anything we had with Avco.

Any ideas on how i could get in touch(local office closed down years ago)? and if i can still investigate these accounts?

And you said no because you didn't want to borrow any more from an expensive company like Avco ?

Are you hoping to do a PPI reclaim because you think you had insurance on the loan and think you may have a case that it was missold?

If so you might want to try posting in the PPI reclaim section of the forum - there is a similar post here as well that might be worth a read - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3331348.
But if you don't have your copies of the paperwork and if the loans were settled earlier than 2006 then its likely they don't have copies either. And in which case you stand little chance of even proving the loans had PPI and the amounts involved, never mind if it was missold.
