Hi All!

Just need some help please.

If I took out a loan with Avco Trust in around 1996, and being a young naive lad, just sign on the line to a loan with everything and anything stuck on, can I reclaim the PPI?

Even if I dont have the paper work?

If so, how do I get the paperwork?

Any help would be grateful.

Hi and welcome

Normally they would hold data for at least the last 6 years, but if the company are still active you could try by contacting them first to make sure.
Give them as many details as possible, the year of the loan etc and what you can remember.

When did you actually settle the loan? year? thanks.;)

Sorry for the delay!

Erm, I guess 2 years after.

I'm led to believe they're owned by CitiFinancial, although what are there rights to handing out info from over 10 years ago?

I dont have any more information other that I used them about that time and my address.

Am I on a lost cause here do you think?

You may be ok, but ask them if they still hold details first, they may be able to confirm on the phone.;)
