Lakeland Shop Windermere

Lovely staff, lovely service, lovely restaurant service and lovely goods! Didn't spend too much but the staff and service made the whole experience a pleasure.

Oh, and lovely drive there and back too through the most glorious and sundrenched countryside.

  • Excellent company which is still family owned. :T If any of their goods prove faulty (even years later) they will replace it and often do not ask you to return faulty item.

I envy you getting to their flagship shop - but their mailorder delivery is great

It was a long trip but a lovely one, well worth it. Even the service in the restaurant was excellent - not to mention the stunning view from the table over the railway station to the hills beyond.

I mostly use their mail order system and have been completely happy with it but a rare visit to the shop was a real treat. :j
  • I love Lakeland! I'm lucky in that I'm only a half-hour drive away from their flagship store. The restaurant is lovely, I agree - and quite good value for the quality.

We were up in the Lakes for a week, last week. I only managed two trips there during that time, but it's heaven! Even DH doesn't mind it because of the newspapers and internet access they have. :D He also made sure that we were the first ones in the cafe for breakfast on Saturday morning as he loves their bacon and egg muffin that set him up for the drive back home.

Unfortunately, we're off to the Lakes again in a fortnight for a weekend. I've got a few things that I forgot to get last time on my list........... I could get it by mail order, but it's so much better going into that wonderful shop. :D:D
