  • That is a scammer don't do it!!

Paypal will never ask you to click their link from an email.

I get these all the time, if your account has any issues log into paypal.com and look that way. The emails always make out that my account has issues but when I log in my account is perfectly normal.

Also Paypal will email you with a Dear Scott Smith not Dear Paypal Customer!

Any emails like that, even from ebay ignore them. These scammers want your details so they can hijack accounts and con people etc.
  • its a phishing email...put the first line into Google and lots of sites come up about it....

Also surely in a legit email they would use your name not 'Dear paypal customer' - always a sure sign its phishing?

Yuss, Paypal/ebay include your real name as a sort of proof that its a legit email (and they say so in the same email)
