Postage was £1.72
Item was sent in a clear peel and seal bag, within one of those nice blue mailing bags.
£4 is more than my profit. will offer her £2 or return of item + return postage.0 -
Have you got any more of the blue mailing bags? Stick your nose in one and see if it smells.chemical.galaxy wrote: »Item was sent in a clear peel and seal bag, within one of those nice blue mailing bags.0 -
£4 for the "inconvenience" of washing something?! I'd tell her to return it for a full refund including postage both ways, if her emails hinted at bad feedback then eBay's feedback policy has recently been changed regarding buyers asking for part refunds. Not sure exactly how it works but should be detailed in the help pages. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

I offered £2 or return of item + return postage.
She has accepted £20 -
Considering a wash costs around 30p, the buyer has profited well from their "inconvenience" - they were definately trying it on with you!0

Possibly.
Just got feedback: "Item very nice, great comms thank you!!!!"
To be honest she did not seem like a chancer, although I was surprised at the £4 she asked for.

I wouldn't dream of asking for nearly half the price of an item back if it smelled a bit musty. Espescially if it was BNWT. If it was that awful I'd return it but surely you would just wash it first? I've bought some clothes from shops which smelled a bit odd but have been fine after washing.
It is horrible when you buy something and it turns up reeking of smoke though
. I had a pair of jeans once which turned up with more hair on them than the sellers cat must have had left and they stank of smoke. Bleurgh!
My SiL actually got negative feedback for sending clothes which stank of smoke. She had washed the item before sending and couldn't understand it. We had to point out to her that she dries all of her clothes indoors on airers and stores them inside and she smokes inside so the house smells of smoke as do all of their clothes. Why don't people understand this? That's why we don't smoke inside!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
