Prague-Vienna

I am going to Prague for a week during the summer and plan to go to Vienna for a look around. I am assuming that it is easy to get the train from Prague to Vienna. Has anyone ever done this journey and if so how long does it take and is there anything I should know before setting off.?

Also should I allow 1 or 2 days to spend in Vienna? What are the main attractions there?

We went to Vienna a few years back for a week. Our trip was primarily to attend a wedding but that was just one day out of the week. To be totally honest I have very little recollection of Vienna and no, that wasn't because of the booze! I cant really remember what we did/saw. We did do a day trip to Bratislava in Slovakia which was good. Schonbrunner (?) palace was good but a trip out of the city if I remember correctly. Other than that I'm largely ambivalent about the place. The friends who got married there still live and work n the city and I'm sure there are others who will probably love it, just didn't work for us?
