Need help with PPI Claim

I wonder if anyone could help. I am new to the site.
I had a loan from Natwest before and took up PPI incase I got ill. I work full time but never claim anything and I already paid the loan back.
I wrote my bank (RBS) and ask for PPI payment back.
The response I got is 'As you have not provided specific reasons for complaint I am currently unable to progress matters. So that I can do this, please let me have the exact reasons why you believe the policy mis-sold'
I don't know what to say.
I would appreciate if anyone could advice me about next step.
Thank you

That is wise
That is not wise, if you are entitled to claim you should do. That is why you pay the premium.I work full time but never claim anything
So it is not a ground for complaint.I already paid the loan back.
Also not a ground for complaint.I wrote my bank (RBS) and ask for PPI payment back.

That is perfectly reasonable. As a Taxpayer, I do not want what, ultimately, is my money given to you simply because you ask for it.
What do you think RBS has done wrong?0 -
I don't know who you are but, I found you very offending. You talk like I never pay taxes and you are the only one who pay taxes. If it comforts you I can tell you that I must have paid over 300k taxes past 25 years. I can assure you that I am totaly against and angry the way the that people claim benefit and my taxes feeds them as they sit in their house but I have to gout in the freezing cold to earm me and my childrens living.
I only ask for help for something that is my right.
Regards

I never said either of those things. You talk like I never pay taxes and you are the only one who pay taxes.
That is beside the point. If it comforts you I can tell you that I must have paid over 300k taxes past 25 years.
Actually, I do not begrudge supporting those who genuinely need it.I can assure you that I am totaly against and angry the way the that people claim benefit and my taxes feeds them as they sit in their house
But it is not your right to have the premium back on a contract of insurance. The whole point of insurance is that the fortunate share the burden of the unfortunate. It does not work otherwise.I only ask for help for something that is my right.0 -
I do see what you mean here about "opportunistic" claims. However, in this case, surely this is more ignorance than deliberate fraud? The claims companies do advertise as if it's a "right" of every PPI customer to reclaim.magpiecottage wrote: »But it is not your right to have the premium back on a contract of insurance.
