Sony Ericsson K800i?

  • Got it last week. Absolutely amazing! Best phone i've owned! I moved from a Samsung, which I was comfy with, but the SE has surpassed all my expectations! No problems with it as of yet, but its early days! agreed with Stacey21, the silver looks a bit dud really, and i be it shows up scratches/blemishes really badly! the black is chic and stylish looking, with the silverborder really setting it off nice! it is quite blocky compared to slider/flip phones but is probably the best phone on the market at the mo!
  • Definatley black, although the brown on eis quite nice. Like others have said silver is a little cheap looking. The k800i is my second SE phone and I can't fault it. I had the k750i before this one as does my sister now, she got that version in silver and believe me its looking pretty cruddy now. My k7501 (somewhere in my drawer!) is looking almost new, hers has really identifiable scratches- not nice

The K810i is coming soon, and from the pictures on SE's Web Site looks like they may have fixed the K800i's biggest problem. The Camera Shutter coming open easily in your poscket plus it is slightly smaller.

Noticed this on the Sony US site and it looks like a nice phone only problem is their is no release date yet and it is bound to come with a handset charge once it appears on the pay monthly contract.

I only plan to get the K800i on a 12 month contract from O2 rather than a 18 month so I suppose i could always upgrade say 10+ months into my contract for the K810i

Sony are saying May, which is nice as the Wife's LG Chocolate is up for renewal then :) A few sites have them on pre order but no pricing.
    Cheers

Think I will still opt for the K800i at the moment as I hate paying a handset charge on new mobiles, at least I can get the K800i and then upgrade later in the year to the newer version as O2 are currently giving a free 1gb memory card with the phone and I can also go through Quidco for £35 cashback
