Update on PPI Claims

Hi Guys

I sent off letters of complaint for PPI misselling last week and I've had some responses. Is there any chance someone can comment on the following?

GE Capital - They have acknowledged receipt "we can confirm we will now start our investigation...." however on their letter to me, where they refer to my account number, they say Untraceable?? I gave them my account number?? Should I just wait given they state they will start the investigation or should I call them??

MBNA LOAN - Have received my letter but similar to the above they are unable to identify the account (I provided the account number)and want me to call them....but on the credit card complaint letter I sent, they have said they will now start looking in to it? Both accounts were settled on the same day a few years back...is this normal?

EGG LOAN AND CC - They acknowledge receipt of both complaints and have passed them on to a customer relations advisor however, EGG have sent me out the consumer questionnaire even though I outlined my reasons for missell on my letter of complaint? No other bank has sent me the consumer questionnaire....any idea why they have? Shall I fill it in using the reasons on my original complaint letter and send it to them?

Sorry to ask what may appear to be trivial questions however I don't want to do anything that may jeopardise my complaints. I'm also concerned what MBNA may ask when I call them as this was so long ago I really cannot remember what happened......I got all my account numbers from my credit file as I do not have any of the original finance agreements.
