Car Leasing or Used Car
Hi
I am planning on getting a car. I am limited to Automatic and as I am not going to have hardly any passengers I want a small car. Ideally a Smart Car.
I have been given some good quotes for a smart car that work out to be about £5000 in 2 year (tax paid)
OR
I could wait for a suitable 2nd hand car, with all the extras.
What would you advise me to do? :money:

Start a spreadsheet and do the sums. Once you know the costs you can then decide which path you wish to go.
For example to me selling cars is a pain and avoiding that is worth £xxx, for some having an all singing dancing service plan is important even if it cost a bit more, for some having a brand new plate is worth an extra £xxxx.
But to make the right ecision you need to know the costs spread over however long you plan to keep the car.0 -
Give me a used car anytime - I am a typical high mileage driver and leasing wont suit me , anyway i have seen so many threads on leasing drama. I would generally avoid,I owe £3233 @ 0%0
