Hi i was wondering if anyone could help me out by maybe splitting this journey up for me as i have no idea how to do it ?

Travelling Monday 20th Feb - Morning
Return Thursday 23rd -Afternoon

Have you read MSE's Cheap Train Tickets article?

There is a video in there which explains clearly how to do split ticketing.
Be warned however, split ticketing does not always produce the desired results, and it may well be a lot of work.

What fares have you found for your trip?
Do you hold any railcards?
How many people travelling? Adults? Children?

One easy split:

Boston to Nottingham £22 off peak return

Nottingham to Cardiff £65.40 off peak return

Through ticket is £110 off peak return

All walkon tickets - no need to book

You can save a small amount (and lose flexibility) by getting advance singles at £30.50 each way from Nottinghan to Cardiff - these have to be booked ahead and can only be used on the train booked.

London Heathrow to New York JFK
New York to Boston



Well, you didn't specify which Boston did you! There's several to choose from.
