Just got PCN for parking in restricted/no loading zone

Hi all,
I just got home from work to find a PCN in my letter box. It has a lovely photo of my van parked by the side of the road in North London N8 where it does say no loading between 8am and 9:30am. The photo was taken at 8:47am. I don't believe I was parked. I did stop the van while I jumped out to post a letter but my engine was running as my key is so worn that I can remove the key and lock the van while the engine is running. In fact I was so quick that I got out while the lights were red and was back in the vehicle before the lights changed to green.
Do I have any kind of argument to challenge this? Any advice would be kindly accepted.
Colin

Colin, I think you would do better posting this up on pepidoo, they tend to deal with more of these. Presumably the photo is a frame grab from a surveillance video, only the whole video would tell the true story and support what you claim.0

Pepipoo's Council parking tickets forum is here:

Register and start a new topic after reading the FAQs such as 'how to post pictures'. And look at a few other threads to see what pics you need to show and what sort of advice is given to people.
But forget the 'not parked' thing. 'Stopped' is 'waiting' is 'parked'. Engine running is irrelevant, it is the same as parked. Don't post that idea on pepipoo as it's a non starter - not to say there might not be other grounds for appeal but that is not one of them.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
