is a british gas energy smart tariff worth it
Hi
My fixed rate deal ends on feb 28 and i have looked online and scottish power states it can save me £204 per year. checked with british gas who offer slightly smaller saving if i take their online engery smart tariff. they do say anticipated savings. does anyone know how realistic these claims are. we do use a lot of electricity there is 5 of us including 3 young adults. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Put your consumption, in kWh, into a comparison site and pick the one at the top of the list. Ignore what it says about savings.
If you are still not sure come back on here and post the figures and results here. We also need to know your area.0 -
Hi
thanks for this
. it was pretty much what i was thinking but wanted to be sure not a good deal as for only a few pound it takes away the hassle of changing suppliers, but as only estimated savings better to have guaranteed savings.0 -
Might be worth it when there is any cashback, although prices any company chargers is main reason one shops around. Npower currently have £90 duel fuel it ends soon obviously its got to be worth switching
