HELP:Faulty Bush VCR

My bush MODEL # VCR925NSIL player has got a fault. I have lost the manual. When I switch it on , it sometimes come up with Er:01 on the front LCD panel/clock display thingy. When I put a video tape in it will do all its stuff and will let me rewind and play for a bit then come with message on LCD again but this time it is Er:03.
Any wizards out that know what that means. I think the warranty probably up on it. I brought it summer 2004(i think roughly) from argos , to replace a dead pacific player I got from asda 2 years before.

Looks like I will be watching ebay for a bargain video.

Sounds like it has had it.

You might want to watch your local freecycle instead of ebay. lots of people getting rid of video recorders as they upgrade to dvd recorders and pvrs.

I picked up a panasonic of freecycle last week. owner said it didn't record but it works fine for me and has better features than previous recorder.
