I put in "binnacle" on Ebay and got This page. If you have an a/c and can log in, you can search for "Completed Listings" which wil tell you what previous items have sold for.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

Hello hel8itch

I'll move your thread to the 'Ebay & other auctions' board.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.

Have you thought about getting a local auctioneer round to value it for you? I would think that's the sort of thing that might be better off in a traditional auction.

You probably know this already, but just in case, before you list it on eBay make sure you know for certain how much it is going to cost to ship the compass. The last thing you want to happen is to lose most of the money you get for it by underestimating the P&P costs.

delivery for an item like this should be approx 65 quid. thats a typical pallet rate for mainland uk.
thats assuming you/the buyer wants to risk it on a pallet?
think id rather make it collection only.
