IVA overtime / bonus question

Hey I am in an IVA and currently we pay all overtime / bonus over according to the 10/50/50 rule,

i.e. we keep 10% above normal salary and share the rest 50 / 50

my question is odd...why do they allow you to keep half of it? are they not entitled to take it all?

Hi. If they took it all, you wouldn't do the overtime, so the creditors would get zilch -- 50/50 is an incentive for you to add to the pot, as well as keep some yourself 0)
