has anyone claimed from Next and been successful?
had an account for as long as i can remember and have payment protection on it, which i know i never applied for. Have no copies of a policy with them either so don't actually know if i would be eligible for claiming if i needed to. so my question is how to i go about telling them that i think they missold the protection to me?l read some of the the threads on here but my head is spinning!!

I have not got anywhere with my claim with Next on behalf of DH, even with holding the account since 1997. We did ask for a copy of my paperwork but received a letter back saying that in Aug 1997 if customers wished to benefit from PPI that they would either - Have ticked a box, Returned a payment protection coupon, Reuqested it over the phone. DH cannot remember taking this up and feels that at the time of the opening the account it was a must have. They all mention that it has been detailed on all out statements so they are unable to reefund any payments made (Funny how they have stopped it for all customers last month !!!)
I'm not sure whether to send another letter now or not ??0 -
I have filled in the forms today and am going to send them. I have no records at all from them of the policy and my account is over 12 years old too. I know that I wasn't given the option of opting out at any time and have detailed this in my letter to them, neither have i been given any option recently.0
