You may well find that there are some cancellation penalties or at least an admin fee if you cancel early. Have a look on the Zurich website and see if they publish all their smallprint.0

you get the cashback for a 12 month policy. if you cancel the policy, the insurance company will want the cash back from quidco and quidco will want it back from you.

Quidco Etiquette
Quidco is a cooperative.
That's the essential point in understanding how Quidco operates. The purpose of Quidco is to create a framework for people to come together, pool their earnings and receive all the commission they are owed. We are not a big faceless corporate conglomerate, we are not out to take all the money we can off people, we are a couple of people who have a passion for creating a site that provides members with a cashback option that has integrity, honesty and transparency.
The Quidco cooperative concept also means that it is not every member for themselves. The actions of an individual can affect the entire group and in some cases spoil things for everyone. Being a part of Quidco is understanding that you are a part of the whole and you have responsibility towards all the other members. Please do not abuse the merchant programs or attempt to create fraudulent or deceitful transactions. Quidco accounts should only be used on a one person to one account basis.
The same spirit of cooperative extends to the merchants. We do not appreciate merchants who abuse the faith of our members or their custom. Treating our members as valued and intelligent customers will ensure their continued custom; it really is as simple as that.
One of the goals of Quidco is to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships between our members and participating merchants. We really believe that integrity, honesty, and transparency is a core requirement for all of us.:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:A

thanks for clearing that up.
so it doesnt say anything about having to keep the policy for the full term.
so in 6 months time if do a check and i can find insurance at a cheaper monthly rate (hopefully with one of quidcos providers), then ill be able to change over, also gaining the quidco cashback as a bonus. even if its not with one of quidcos providers, as long as its cheaper than what im paying now ill be happy and ill be changing (unless cancellation charges put me out of pocket).

Well done for spelling that out brazilianwax.0

Most insurance companies will cancel using short period policy rates (quite expensive) and not pro rata for policies in the 1st year since inception. Some also then charge an admin fee.Bit of a Florida Fan :j

This smacks of utter greed and the sort of thing that will spoil it for others and ruin Quidco0
