What does "Balance Transfer on [date].. ends on [date]" mean?

I balanced transferred from one credit card (RBS) to another (LLoyds TSB) back in July last year - 2011.

Two weeks ago i got my bill through for my credit card. On the statement, i got that message but i don't understand what it means

Presumably the first date is either when the offer was made or when you made the transfer and the second date is probably the date on which you would start paying interest if you have not repaid it by then.

Yikes..

Hopefully i have paid all the transferred credit.. can't find any info/records on when i transferred as it was more than 6 months ago
