David Hockney Tickets at the Royal Academy

Hoping someone can help - I have bought two tickets, using the RA website, for the David Hockney show for this weekend. I have a confirmation email that states the date and time, with these comments -

Tickets will be Print@home
Please print this page as confirmation of your booking - it is your receipt of purchase

There is also a weblink where I can supposedly login to view my bookings - however this link returns an error. If I go to the RA website, and try to login, it refuses to recognise my email address.

My question which hopefully can be answered by someone who has been to the exhibition - is a printout of the email all I need? Or are there actual tickets somewhere I need to print, possibly with a bar-code? The RA switchboard is constantly "very busy" and the ticket office number doesn't answer either. I have emailed them and been told to expect an answer within three weeks!

Thanks to anyone who can help...

Alan

A printout of the email won't suffice as your tickets!
  • Indeed Quentin - but I have no way to get the tickets and no-one to ask at the RA!

They mention a "dedicated" e-mail address for online problems - is that the one you used with a 3 week wait for a reply?
Please email your name, contact details and a brief description of the problem to hockneytickets@royalacademy.org.uk. We will respond as soon as we are able. We are grateful for your patience at this very busy time.
  • No it's not - I'll give that one a try - thanks for your help
