Phoned up EDF Regarding incentive to stay with them but coudn't do anything Fixed to 2013 is going to be £140 a year dearer so will have a look around for a few days to see whats about,I don't fancy all the hassle of switching to be honest so if nothing else is outstandingly better will go for 2013 fixed deal with EDF at least I'll know where I am for the next couple of years price wise.0

My deal is also ending, not sure why EDF have removed all of there tariff options? They used to have several to choose from now only standard or fixed...
Scottish Power is best value combined for me but £58 a year more, reduced with cashback possibly.
Are EDF going to add any more tariffs soon??0 -

I've been asking myself the sams question why have'nt they got more tariffs a few months ago they had loads of options so what is going on?
I don't really want to go with Scot Pow they have'nt got a very good reputation PR wise and the other one for me is Utility Warehouse which are'nt very good either so I'm in a bit of a delemma, think I'll hang on as long as I can and see what pops up.0 -

My deal also ends 31st March.
Just had a chat. They're launching new online tariffs soon.
Maybe I'll wait a few weeks to see what they offerIf I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0 -

Just phoned them up regarding staying with them and when's best time to switch tariffs was advised to stay on "Online Saver 8" untill a couple of days before the end and then phone them and see what is available then rather than doing the switch now because I would start the new tariff in a few days so would lose about a months benefit of "Online Saver 8" tariff, hopefully there will be more options then. she seemed to indicate that they were bringing out new tariffs soon so here's hopeing.0 -
I got the letter that my deal comes to an end at the end of March
When I signed up to it I forgot all about it.
So prompted to go online and look at the state of play. I find that I have not paid a thing for the last 12 months. No emails, letters, bills, etc. A zero balance shows online and no account information.
I rang and they were bemused. I now have to pay it off over the next 12 months as well as next years bills.
Plus The Standard tarriff is 32% more than I have been paying for electricity and about 15% more for gas

Walkritenow, make a formal complaint to them under the back billing rules and take it to the ombudsman.0
