i think i must be getting old and grey as i'm just too slow off the mark these days, you guys must have speedy fingers(actually just don't get chance to log onto the board as much as i used to:A:A:A:A)

going to have to be carfeul as my little ones are in danger of a grumpy overworked glitch deprived mummy all over again:(

messed up the milk and more thing as i didn't put in referred from a friend on the first page, just telephoned them and they said they would put £10 off towards my next order, told him just to cancel my account:(

had a cpouple of hours off today for an appintment, managed to squeeze in 2 T's but was getting calls from work in the second asking where i was:mad::mad::mad::mad: so had to take my 1p xmas stuff through a normal till where i got totally trouted, SA knew they were 1p already before she even served me:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:and whispered to a manager who scuttled off to find another manager and they all agreed i couldn't have them:(:(:(:(:(then they all scuttled off to clear the shelf, bah:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:this was $h*ff *bb*yd*le rd so sorry guys, i was gutted

Did manage to get some 50p bogof bottles of fanta 600mls, loads of juices reduced in the clearance section at $hef inf8rm*ry rd, also managed DTD on 8packs of duracell and used a DM £5 off £40 coupon!

i used to consider myself a pro at this glitching lark, think i'll sit back and leave it to you professionals

now do i bother consoling myself with some SSM'ing or not:cool:

Hope you muttered "trouts" underneath your breath as you walked away ;)

Evening guys - hope you are all well :D

I went to see Mr 3Dogs from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. He'd had the morphine drip removed this morning, as well as his catheter which is good progress. However, he'd been in his chair for 20 minutes and felt he'd overdone it as he was in pain and very tired when I got there. Nurse gave him some orimorph to take the edge off the pain. He was also quite down today, probably after coming off the morphine. Despite having the catheter out from 8 am and drinking 2 jugs of water/squash, he could have a wee, no matter how hard he tried, and he was staining himself trying, so the nurse checked with the doc and re-fitter the catheter which started to drain immediately ;)

He doesn't feel much like eating and didn't have any of his supper, but has had small amount of his dinner and is drinking plenty fluids

He told me that the Macmillan Nurse had been to see him this morning and would start off a claim for him, and that she would be round with the doc tomorrow so I should see her then :D

We have been worrying over a decision which we knew was the right thing to do for practical reasons but our hearts were telling us otherwise. However, we made the decision and I called at the kennels on my way to the hospital and explained the new situation, and asked them about rehoming Billy :( Things are going to be tough over the next few weeks/months and Billy is going to be a problem. He is very strong and I struggle giving the two of them one walk a day, whereas he need 3 good walks, and I can't see Alan being able to manage dog walks while undertaking chemo. Bess is smaller and less trouble so we feel able to cope with her and little pup Molly, but have to be practical and quite selfish and let Billy go to a new home. The kennels understood as we have hinted at this before and they will contact the lady who does the rehoming at their kennels, and she will get in touch with me. I didn't go into the runs today to see Billy & Bess as I would have got too upset and it would have unsettled them, though I was dying to see them :(

Tough decision, but we both agree that it has to be done :(:( We even discussed whether Bess should be rehomed too, but feel that she won't be as much trouble :o Big drastic changes for us but that comes with the diagnosis :(:(

a truly heartbreaking decision, but it sounds like you both knew, and know that its the right decision for you both. It doesnt matter a jot what other people think.

Hope some good news about treatment comes from tomorrows' meeting, i will be thinking of you xx
