Afternoon everyone!
Looks like I might pop into T's tomorrow to see if I can try out Duracel DTD, have to pop that way anyway to get Boots points put on my card.
Will get some Price check booklets too. Any DTD oppurtunities on them yet?
I think you should complain to HO, I hate it when they never have any of the smaller trolleys that are easier to push and good for shorter people like me! I can never find them and when I do, it's only one and its the chained one!
Yes I did call HO as I really was stressed out about it. The girl I spoke to was really nice and apologised over and over, she was v v  about the raw meat! She said they would speak to the store and area manager regarding it. Its not my regular mr T's so I am going to give it a miss from now on!Erm I'm not sure if I've got the hang of this money saving.....I seem to be spending more money buying 'bargains' that I don't really need - oops!!0 -
Prices gone up since my last trip there and didn't realise that allowances had dropped. A woman on the way home said that I was only allowed 800 ciggies now and I got 2000. Didn't get stopped at customs though, I was well stressed by that point lol
I know, the boogers, reduced the tobacco allowance from whatever it was to a kilo (20 pouches).

I'm popping off to have a catch up from page 108, will just have to skim otherwise I'll take a week to catch up. See you later xThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
just back from wh smith and yes its still working...
I TREATED :-) myself to some cath kidston stuff which have been after for a while. Anyway 1st transaction i bought 2 of her books, magazine and a birthday card (plus bought any other giftcard)... the lady was lovely and gave me a 20% off voucher before i even paid my bill.. noticed on the receipt that the book where bogohp (buy one get one half price) which i didnt know about but was pleased... paid all with yesterdays giftcards ....total £33.77 saving of 13.70
these r the 2 books i bought...
http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-16725-cath-kidston-cath-kidston-patch-book.aspx (£15.00)
http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-14116-cath-kidston-cath-kidston-sew-book.aspx (£6.99)
but on looking at the receipt i realised i was overcharged (£9.49 should have been £6.99) on one of the books... so i went back and tried to figure out the best way round getting a better deal, as there was another book there which would give me a better discount
http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-15524-cath-kidston-cath-kidston-stitch-book.aspx (£15.00)
so i returned the first 2 books i bought buttttt when it went through the till the discount for bogohp didnt acknowledge so was up £4.75 (plus the 20%) before i paid for everything else. minus start of bill was - £24.49 :rotfl: ... i decided to but 2 more cath kidston stuff... (yes im addicted to her stuff)
http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-17122-cath-kidston-knitting-kit-in-a-book-tin.aspx
http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-17121-cath-kidston-crochet-kit-in-a-booktin.aspx...
anyway after paying for everthing...total came to £76.99 then with all the discount, another 20% off bill, bogohp, the returned books bill total came to £23.10 and off course paid with the giftcards...
so over all bill total today was £94.97 but paid (with giftcards) £37.75 a saving of £57.22 plus have £37.40 giftcards left.. im happy... going back tomorrow cause the lady that was there was lovely and im gonna try and get some more giftcards and the hopefully exchange them for other giftcards in other high street store...
i'll shut up now :rotfl:... hope it all makes sense and hth
must admit I haven't quite got my head around all the maths in this yet - need to reread!! But wow you did really well!! I love Cath Kidston too but don't think I am 'crafty' enough to do the make it yourself things......god knows how they would turn out!! :rotfl:Erm I'm not sure if I've got the hang of this money saving.....I seem to be spending more money buying 'bargains' that I don't really need - oops!!0 -
