Afternoon everyone :happyhear and ((hugs)) to all who need them.
After spending over a week off here I'm chomping at the bit to get back in the swing of things so to speak. I'm way back on page 106, so have loads to catch up on it seems. Unless some kind soul can bring me quickly up to date.
I had a great time in Spain, lovely and warm during the day but chilly of an evening. Never mind though, I'm now fully stocked with ciggies and baccy lol. There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Don't keep using the memory card as the new pictures will overwrite the old data making it more and more difficult to get the old pictures back.
it was, Ive done a few as I thought it would overwrite the ones at the start and these are the ones I have uploaded....at least i hope it works like that! The art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -

just back from wh smith and yes its still working...
I TREATED :-) myself to some cath kidston stuff which have been after for a while. Anyway 1st transaction i bought 2 of her books, magazine and a birthday card (plus bought any other giftcard)... the lady was lovely and gave me a 20% off voucher before i even paid my bill.. noticed on the receipt that the book where bogohp (buy one get one half price) which i didnt know about but was pleased... paid all with yesterdays giftcards ....total £33.77 saving of 13.70
these r the 2 books i bought...
http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-16725-cath-kidston-cath-kidston-patch-book.aspx (£15.00)
http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-14116-cath-kidston-cath-kidston-sew-book.aspx (£6.99)
but on looking at the receipt i realised i was overcharged (£9.49 should have been £6.99) on one of the books... so i went back and tried to figure out the best way round getting a better deal, as there was another book there which would give me a better discount
http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-15524-cath-kidston-cath-kidston-stitch-book.aspx (£15.00)
so i returned the first 2 books i bought buttttt when it went through the till the discount for bogohp didnt acknowledge so was up £4.75 (plus the 20%) before i paid for everything else. minus start of bill was - £24.49 :rotfl: ... i decided to but 2 more cath kidston stuff... (yes im addicted to her stuff)
http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-17122-cath-kidston-knitting-kit-in-a-book-tin.aspx
http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-17121-cath-kidston-crochet-kit-in-a-booktin.aspx...
anyway after paying for everthing...total came to £76.99 then with all the discount, another 20% off bill, bogohp, the returned books bill total came to £23.10 and off course paid with the giftcards...
so over all bill total today was £94.97 but paid (with giftcards) £37.75 a saving of £57.22 plus have £37.40 giftcards left.. im happy... going back tomorrow cause the lady that was there was lovely and im gonna try and get some more giftcards and the hopefully exchange them for other giftcards in other high street store...
i'll shut up now :rotfl:... hope it all makes sense and hth0 -

Sorry guys my PC crashed!
Yeah it's still working but I think I just got lucky as my SA had only just come on shift and hadn't been briefed about the new T's & C's, which were up in the shop I just didn't happen to noticeI thought I'd just give it a try, nothing to lose, I never really shop in there!
I managed 15 cards in small batches, letting anyone in the queue behind me go first so as not to cause unnecessary hold ups! And I can't say I was trouted as they were very lovely (atleast to my face!
) but I was politely informed the T's and C's had been changed late yesterday to prevent people from buying gift cards with gift cards.
I don't know what came over me, I live in a fairly small town and the Smiths is tiny so I really didn't think I had the guts to try again and then I thought, pah you only live once!! :rotfl:Had a blood test anyway so was walking through town and bit the bullet. So glad I did....my 19 cards and £70.97 are now 34 cards and £118.20 (I did buy some £1.99 cards too so I've got some that are 'useful!!' :rotfl:)
EDIT: Someone had dropped £1 on the floor by the till too so taking everything into account I spent £10.50 in total'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
I tried the Whs glitch about an hour ago. I had got 2 cards yesterday and got another today. Young lady firstly could not find the paper with the barcode for the offer and just then an older assistant came along who gave it to her. Then just as she was about to scan it she looked another piece of paper that said something about gift cards on it. The other assistant said something about buying gift cards with gift cards and the young one said No it just applies to other gift cards not W.h.smith ones. So now have 3 cards with 21.76 on them , 3 nice greeting cards all for an outlay of 11.75.
The girl said they had to be careful as there was a big fuss yesterday. Did someone say it finishes today cause if so I will nip out at 5 and have a few more goes. Dont shop in Smiths much but cards will do for printer ink and gift cards if nothing else0 -
