There is no coupon for household stuff in the price check mag - and thank God for that I need to get food now!

Or maybe some greetings cards I'm not sure...:D
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Well Day #1 of trying get a £40 shop down to ... what did I say? £1.50 :rotfl:

In reality I paid £32.53 for a £48.03 shop using just vouchers (no JTDs). My 'overspend' is mainly due to the 4 bags of Fairy Platinum 62 D/W tabs I came across (4 x £6).

So if I adjust my totals accordingly ... my spend was £24.03 reduced to £8.53 which sounds a lot better ... but it should have been even better at £6.64 (as I was overchraged but didn't go back for DTD)

Basically, my basket consisted of some 'regular' shopping and cleaning stuff and according to my calculations I should have paid a grand total of £35.64 - £5 MoS coupon ... £30.64.

    It consisted of:
    • 4 x Flash Spray ... 4 x £1 = £4 - 4 x £1 (SSM coupon) = FREE
    • 3 x Flash Liquid ... 3 x £1 = £3 - 3 x £1 (SSM coupon) = FREE
    • 1 pack of Walkers crisps ... 49p - 49p = FREE
    • 4 bags of Fairy Platinum tabs 62 ... 4 x £6 = £24
    • 3 packs of McDougalls Uppercrust Frozen pies (12 beef) ... 3 x £2 = £6 - £1 (PriceDrop) - (3 x 50p coupon from thread) = £3.50
    • 2 boxes of eggs (caged  ) ... 2 x £1.98 = £3.96 - £1 Price Drop = £2.96
    • 1 pack of Creamfields Mild Cheddar + 1 pack of Creamfields Medium Cheddar ... £1.99 + £2.39 = £4.38 - £1 (PriceDrop) = £3.38
    • 4 copies of the Daily Mirror ... 4 x 45p = £1.80

    But ... as I said I was overcharged £1.89:
    • 40p on the cheese
    • 49p coupon on 1st bag of crisps didn't come off (didn't notice at the time)
    • cos I thought it was just the 2nd coupon on crisps not working gave back 2nd bag of crisps but kept coupon
    • the SA reversed a £1 coupon (not sure why but maybe this relates to trying to use 2 lots of coupons on frozen food?)
Anyhow ... needless to say I didn't go to CS (didn't want to draw attention to the 4 bags of glitched D/W tabs) ... not a bad haul for £8.53 paid.

    Phew ... I need a cuppa

BTW I tried using 2 x £5 newspaper coupons (MoS and Daily Mirror) but computer said 'No'

Great shop, think there is a £1.50 voucher on facebook for Fairy Platinum, not printed it so dont know what size pack its for, HTHs someone :T
    Also
    pilgrims choice extra mature 400g £2.24 MR T x 2 = £4.48 - 30p off coupon (voucher thread) x 2 - £1.00 (Pricedrop) = £2.88 for 800g of cheese
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

    Weight loss 3 stone :D
