Loving French Knickers fashion tip over on SSM.....

If you have some baler twine left over after making a belt to hold your trousers up, you could make a matching pair of braces. Do make sure its colour coordinated though. Red twine and green twine simply don't go well together.

:T:beer: Thank you :D I knew exactly where these were in our store. Put in amongst the Me To You teddy stuff as I saw them yesterday.....
So on went our Crocs & coats & off we went.
    Got 38 :D
Got the glitter pots, the sparkly nail varnishes, lip glosses on keyrings, hand creams, the mini star soaps & football shaped soaps on ropes :T
Fourp will post a piccie tomorrow for me ;)
He bought himself the coat he didn't want earlier £32 down to £5, £1 checkered Ska slip on pumps & a wonderful cap with rope on the back for £1 :T
The leather mens sandals are £1 but we could only find one shoe in 4ps size :( Luckily we met the clothing SA & she said the other one is out the back somewhere & she'll try & reunite them for him soon :)
a nice friend was on the till & happily put the 1p items (all 38 of them :o) through.
Well I know loads of little girls who will love these. Plus the little soaps are great for holidays :)

£1.98 @ Tesco (need to buy 2 boxes)
    = £3.96
    - £1.00 (voucher)
    = £2.96

You know, I am really surprised that T has included that one. I know not every wants to buy free range, but loads do and feel quite strongly about caged hens, so it seems odd that they should single these out rather than say just £1 off any eggs
  • Has anybody tried using the SSM Herbal Essence coupon along with the one on SSM website for 50p off HE Tousle Me Softly?

very awkward moment this morning. i went to a funeral of someone i went to girl guides with. i was speaking with a lady i knew from back then. she asked "hows your mum?" she died 6 years ago i replied. "oh sorry, what about your dad?" he died 6 years ago as well." the convesation started to go down hill now, then she said,(noticing i was wearing a wedding ring) hows your husband? he died 6 years ago as well. she then left me,not knowing what to say!!

Bless, mmw. Awkward for both of you in different ways, and neither wishing to make the other feel that way.

I got caught out tonight, we were sitting eating our evening meal minding our own business and suddenly there's an advert for Marie Curie and their wear a daffodil campaign with Alison Steadman. Well, something she said about her mum's cancer just struck a chord with me, and next thing I know I'm sitting there weeping. Suppose it all has to come out and be worked through sometime, and when my mum was dying I had even bigger worries with my daughter's health so put it on the backburner to be strong for my daughter. Do wish they wouldn't just spring these adverts on you unannounced though!

PS Just read that back and noticed I'd typed "sitting there weeing". So no!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Hope is not a strategy.

I thought that too, offering a money off coupon is promoting the product and you would think they would have said off say a £4 spend on eggs.

I don't buy eggs very much because I will only buy free range-hence the reason they are rarely in my house!!:D

just a quickie from me as i'm a bit p1ssed

next time you have trouble with dtd,

just ask this one simple sir frequent knight of the aisle question

"why do you do dtd ?"

answer "because it is illegal to sell goods at a higher price than stated on the indicated shelf price label "
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

My store had 2 completely empty huge stands with not one price drop brochure - they only came out today! When I finished shopping they had been refilled so I picked up "a few" 17 or so in case there were good coupons!

Anyone notice how they position the stands either side of the door so you only see them when you leave?
