I just received the call to arms from Snap , she's up in T's on the egg hunt (during lunch break - she's dedicated) ..when I arrived the trolley was laden with eggs and clothes , the sale is in full swing ...(I returned the clothes to the rail - jeepers I have enough to wear) , mens jackets down from£40 to £5 ;trousers down to £2 but carried a bag of eggs home plus the RTC expensive Ginger Beers - non alcoholic ....
when we arrived at check out the person in front of us had loads of clothes and Snap said in not so hushed tones - clothes aren't really cheap until they reach a pound !
I think she has the bug ...meeting her there at 5;40 ..mymerrywidow wrote: »oh yes, cant believe we didnt know about this before hand. there wasnt too much of a bundle like there was with the £1 sale. i forgot about the £5 off coupon in yesterdays paper:o but the saving i made on the clothes makes up for it.
Love it, well done to Snap:T:T:T
And you're right MMW, how come we missed this one?;)No scrum in mine either, just very sedate and am so pleased I went:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
I think I'll have to go to Ts now, just after the school run though. Hoping to get some nice things for DS and maybe an egg or 2 for myself

Yeah I had something like that. Scares you. I was very happy to leave that place. I actually jogged back home. So you could say I actually run away from the place. Had my running gear on as I had went for a run then started to think stupid thoughts..Big Happy Birthday to our two Birthday people sorry I read so quick forgot who you were
Loving Tesco Forever just read your hospital experience, I must post about mine some time but you always get the old lady with dementia appearing at the end of the bed in the middle of the night, people screaming etc, its not nice. I haven't caught up yet so have not been following your progress since you started the tablets, we are all here for you if you need us.
Big hugs to all the poorly people & strength to those with poorly rellies.
I was only away a week but so much to do, have a great couponing day everyone :beer:French_Knickers wrote: »Hi everyone. Feel like crap today. Ache all over and shoulders/neck giving me right gip again. Not sure why.
LTF........sorry to hear about your bad experience with the pills. I wonder if the dose was a little high? I've a feeling docs often tend to dish these out too reasily and in too higher dose....gently and slooooowly does it would be my motto here. Better to get better slowly than have wild fluctuations. Might be something to mention to the GP when you see them?
Happy birthday Tweets and Midwinter.
I forgot to put my receipt into the price checker last night from my coupon shop. I don't actually expect anything back but it'd be good just to see what does and what does not compare favourably.
Yeah I was on 10mg for two weeks, then went to 20mg. It felt like it was working. I believe it was, I just slipped up.HappyChappy84 wrote: »Why did you do that? not because of the trouting you got the other day?
No. Got over that.
I just slipped up. No other words to describe it.
The doctors wanted me to be referred to a mental health center. I will let people know how my appointment goes.0 -
I'm very glad to hear that you have been referred to 'a mental health centre' , but surprised that your GP hadn't made a referral instead of/alongside the prescription for pills.lovingtescoforever wrote: »Yeah I had something like that. :hello:Hey guys, had a couple of FANTASTIC shops with my SSM coupons yesterday yippeeee! So thank you for all your helpful tips and posts :kisses3:
I was just so grateful that all the things on my list were in the store! Anyone else get totally thrown off when what you want isn't there?! As it was the last day for the £5 off £40 till spits I would have been in a right panic if something wasn't there!
:o:o So I got my 1 shop down from £40.20 to £12.70 and 1 down from £40.04 to 85p :T:D (using the £14.44 JTD voucher I had from a DTD a couple of weeks back) All my coupons scanned except the Fairy platinum from their f/b page but he inputted that manually no probs.
I chose my SA wisely, he reminded me of HC! :rotfl::THe was lovely and chatting away to the lady before me so I made a bee line for his conveyor belt and he was so happy I was getting all these bargains and joking about me stocking up. He needs a rise!!!
In both of my shops I bought a 62 pack of Fairy platinum....which might not meet my extremely high dishwashing standards
;) (MBG )
Then I did a small JTD shop of 1 x Cadbury Bubbly bar and 2 x Head and Shoulders Itchy Scalp 500ml shampoo using vouchers which brought it down to £2.64 and I have my price check results already for £1.06 :T
Got a DTD in an Express on Diet Coke 2l was b2g2free but now 3 for 2 so 8 x 2litre bottles for £4.12 :T DTD given no question too  Totally forgot to look in the superstore and when I drove back for diesel (after the store had closed) I noticed a huge banner in the car park still advertising b2g2free so worth looking out for (can price check against A's 3 for £3 too, but not if you buy in an Express doh!
)
In Sainsbo's I planned a small shop with Fairy and another 2 boxes of Bakers Meaty meals, all with vouchers and it was only when I got to SS I realised I couldn't use 2 of my Fairy coupons as they were for T's!!
:rotfl:
Whoopsies were rubbish and I was too late for M's....isn't it gutting seeing someone with a basket full of things like bacon for 9 bloomin pence??!! (Will just have to try harder tonight
) I did get a lovely crusty bloomer reduced from £1.69 to 9p and best part was it shouldn't have been reduced as BB is today so it's fresh
Used my voucher from the Sun for free chips at the chippy on the way home and had those with the 10p venison steaks and cranberry butter and thick crusty bread for dinner ....YUM! :j
Filled up my car with a 10p off per litre voucher saving £3.30 but OMG isn't fuel so bloomin expensive :mad: Seriously considering running on cooking oil atm but I'm still quite scared by it
Unfortunately I don't have any new finds to share T's wise, sorry folks
Temptations and pickled onions still elude me!
Hope everyone's doing well with SSM, I'm at 35/41. QPR I've just made one of yours a favourite and shared it too. I'm posting under the name Kelly Smith if anyone can favourite my fashion, home or travel tips I would be terribly grateful. And I'll favourite/share anone I recognise
Look forward to catching up, should be able to do a bit today
(while I plan a possible 3rd £40 shop!)
Sending love and hugs to those in need :kisses3:xxxx'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
