Your poor cat. I didn't give a thought that I'd be giving my cat something so dangerous, obviously these things need at least a warning on them or even better ban the string/elastic.

I should think they were horrified! I don't think I've ever owned anything on it with enough elastic on it to hurt themselves, I thought most of the ball things these days had twine to attach them not elastic.

Dreadful, they can't have tested it at all!!!!

Did anyone here get the amarilis plant from viking, has yours started growing. We got 3 in my family, 1 has grown a tall stem with a bulb on the tip, another has grown just 6 really long leaves and the 3rd hasn't even grown at all.

I can't believe they'd make that out of elastic, most places would have made the string with twine! Though you don't think of these things do you? You expect the manufacturer would! :eek:
