A question for those that dye their hair.

I bought some hair dye from T's today:o:o:o (not the Garnier Nutrisse) The last time I dyed my hair the dye ran down my face and also left a thick black line of dyed skin all around the edge of my hair. How do I stop this from happening as it was a sod to remove last time.:(

Put some vaseline on your skin around your hair line before you do it. As soon as youve applied all the hair dye wipe any that has stained off. If there are any stubborn bits rub it with some fresh hair dye then wipe off straight away.

Using a layer of vaseline around the edge of the hairline is meant to work but I still have to mop up some of the runs asap. :)

Sorry but i cant find any of your posts. If i can find sunflowers again, i can thumb up the comments you left although dont know if that does anything!

Ive just given you thumbs up on sunflowers post about water tap. It popped up a voucher for £1 off bold crystals.

Seems to happen everytime i thumbs up a comment within the post.

If you can find that post the voucher tab might still be there?!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

I haven't got any vaseline, I wonder if lu actually no. I'll get some vaseline.

Thanks for the tips. I think it's going to get the [STRIKE]lube[/STRIKE] vaseline on at the back where I can't see it. Hmmm.

Ah you beat me to it! ;)

Didn't know the t for using fresh hair dye for stubborn bits. Although I have to squeeze every last drop to cover all of my grey as I'm too tight to use 2 bottles and have quite long hair. :D

OMG just seen time I really must go to bed!! Night for the 2nd time. :o

Hmmm. Use sime tissue rolled lengthways to make a barracade around your hair line. I used the foam last time and it was brill, a lot less mess. Shame i have to resort to dying my hair to match my natural personality.:rotfl::rotfl:

You should get some of the Garnier Nutrisse if it's still glitching.

I have short hair so I have too much dye left over. Could I used this to give it a second coating or is there any way to save it for the next time?

How do you stick the tissue to your forehead then? stick it on the vaseline?
