Just checked the Ambi pur on T's website and it's going in my basket at £9 not £1.50 or even £4.50, so it looks like it could work instore as a glitch at £1.50 or a possible freebie with DTD, best thing would be if SEL said £1.50 and went through at £9 then they'd have to pay you to take it away

SEL of £4.50 in my local so I think the £1.50 on .com is just a typo.

I'm desparate for cheap literacy / maths board games, counting / spelling that sort of thing for my class. I spend any amazon and argos vouchers from surveys on them but still need more. Trivial pursuit would not be suitable but if anyone spots any bargains please post.

I know I shouldn't ask and will delete this post if needed but if anyone has any spare letter tiles from my first scrabble I would gladly pay and cover postage. I have the game but lent it to another class and am now missing several letters.

Do your school hold Summer Fayres or Christmas Bazaars? I used to help on the PTA at DDs primary school and it was amazing how much stuff people would donate. We used to offer the teachers first choice as it's far more useful than the 50p or so it would raise. If your school does hold these it might be worth having a word as if they don't know that these are needed then they won't offer.

I know it doesn't help right now but one to think about for the future?

  • Forgot to say yesterday, I got a goodfellas takeaway peperoni pizza for £1 but the cheese one was £1.99!!
Also managed to pick up a lonely box of Temptations at N0rthc0tt yesterday too, spotted it on the shelf and above it were the individual packs of the biscuits from it but no SEL for any of them. Picked it up just incase and was ready to get it taken off if came up at £8.
None of the scanners worked in that store, does anyone know if they ever did or was it just me???

There seem to be 2 identical (?) but differently priced garlic and cheese slices - 1 is in the meal deal and the other isn't. I had the £1.34 slices which looked correct according to the sel description but presumably were a different barcode.

I picked one of these up yesterday, still to check it out but had ordered 2 different ones in the hope that at least one of them will suit. Both are in my mums car ATM but will have to get them into my own soon, thus the reason for clearing out the boot!
