I was coming to the self serve with 4 temptations boxes and had them taken off me before I even got there as ' there is a computer error' Not unusual as it's happened to others but this is the same SA that let me through yesterday with 3 boxes and was so nice, saying 'if they scan at 1p you can have them at 1p'. I even went and got her 2 when she asked where I got them from and told her where the others were so she could get more in her lunch break!
The veg crisps are scanning at 49p now.
missed this one, what are the veg crisps? i love tyrells.
:ji finally won a bubbly bar:j0 -

There are so many quick witted, funny people on this elite thread and it is just such a great pleasure to be part of it unconditionally.
However, for those of you who don't know about HC yet and fancy laughing uncontrollably, visit his FB page, I guarantee you will be wetting yourselves if you do.
HC, you were born to entertain and I just wish I lived seven or eight hundred miles further north so we could go down the pub and I could listen to your jokes and anecdotes first hand.
Please keep up the good work entertaining the masses and I guarantee that this community will continue for many years to come.
Oh, and a special thanks to your mum Lala for keeping you in check and sis Westy for all the tales she tells.
This is not meant just to be a post from a member of the HC appreciation society. I want to say thanks to all of you who post on this thread as it has made my 2011/2012 evenings far more entertaining and enjoyable than they were before I joined this site. MSE is now a huge part of my life and whether I am looking for 1p items, 4p items, glitches, JTD or DTD, this is the one site that I look at several times a day, every day.
Waffle over..
Oh my, thank you.:o:o:o:beer:0 -
I had some weirdo sit next to me on the bus when over 3/4 of the seats were empty, every time we went round a corner he pressed up way to close to me, I decided to move so said to him that it was my stop and I needed to get off, he wouldnt move and gestured for me to squeeze infront of him, I was wearing 4" metal tipped stiletto ankle boots, I found the centre of his foot with my heel and put all my weight on my one heel and twizzled my foot I head a crunch and he actually screamed
I snorted out loud when I read that. Well done you! reminds me of a warning we got many moons ago in school. I went to an all girls school so we attracted some weirdos (not helped by the fact that we had to do cross country in our gym knickers out in public ).
Anyway, our form tutor read out a note warning about a guy flashing girls in the Station Road area. One of the girls immediately piped up "Oh him - I just pointed and laughed when he did it to me!". Apparently not the right thing to do in the circumstances but it made me laugh.
Oh and there was the time a perv phoned my parents house and mum answered. In the end it was the perv that hung up  Mum kept asking him to repeat himself and went along with everything he said until he got so flustered he had nothing left to say :rotfl: The police weren't too amused at that either but the perv never called again!I was told by a doctor friend that its a myth you can't drink when taking anti-b's
I bloody well hope so as I too have been put on my old friend Amoxycillin for a 10+ day old infection. For once I thought I could beat it but I gave inI'm back, the rhubarb puds didnt work and neither did the coke but it was a productive evening.
I got 5 bottles of organic milk from £1.15 to 11p each, flowers from £7 to 70p, Roddas clotted cream £1.97 to 20p(Will this work for butter?) 6 coupon comforts, 2 coupon comforts,2 coupon toothpastes and my piece de resistance(Sorry it's choccie;))
These:
No SEL but scanned at £1.25 Tesco finest Marc de champagne truffles 170g expiry date May 2012, perfect for mothers day!:T:T
That reminds me. Does anyone remember me posting about the mini boxes of Thorntons a few weeks back? They were 75p and there's 8 sweets in the box. Saw them again this week with an SEL ...... £3 :eek:0 -

The good points are that I'm not feeling suicidal/thoughts in my head:T
Stopped getting depressed over things which would normally get to me down a lot if that makes sense. I hope.
Started to laugh out loud a hell of a lot more:j and smile. Some days I've been just grinning all day:o and laughing randomly:o and commented on the beautiful weather and just general good mood:j
So overall it's good! Yeah I'm stressing out over houses for next year and assignments and I'm completely and utterly addicted to Mr T. I can't stop since SSM coupons came:o
Some small downsides are that my sleeping pattern is a bit messed up. Slowly getting back to normal (last few days).
Get headaches on and off.
Feel very weak and lack of energy
Lose my appetite for hours on end:( the other day I had a biscuit at 10am and nothing till 11pm and I had to force myself to eat. Which is odd for me as I like my food:D
But overall a huge improvement to how I was 2 weeks ago where I was thinking crazy thoughts and wanted to do crazy things and just wanted to die to be very true to you all. So at the moment if I was to rate life. It would get a 8/10, but that might be the drugs talking:o
God I've waffled on a lot. Shutting up now.
Glad there working for you LTF.:beer:0 -
