Best not to imbibe either. Aspartame.
Hi Bob, just one at a time please
Drink (alcohol). Absorb or assimilate (ideas or knowledge): "propaganda you imbibed in your youth".
Aspartame (APM; /ˈæspərteɪm/ or /əˈspɑrteɪm/) is an artificial, non-saccharide sweetener used as a sugar substitute in some foods and beverages. In the European Union, it is codified as E951. Aspartame is a methyl ester of the aspartic acid/phenylalanine dipeptide. It was first sold under the brand name NutraSweet; since 2009 it also has been sold under the brand name AminoSweet. It was first synthesized in 1965 and the patent expired in 1992.
The safety of aspartame has been the subject of several political and medical controversies, congressional hearings and internet hoaxes[3][4][5] since its initial approval for use in food products by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1974. A 2007 medical review on the subject concluded that "the weight of existing scientific evidence indicates that aspartame is safe at current levels of consumption as a non-nutritive sweetener".[6] However, because its breakdown products include phenylalanine, aspartame must be avoided by people with the genetic condition phenylketonuria (PKU).
Anyone no what any of that means ? ( except Bob )Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
In my coupon frenzy last night I completely forgot to go upstairs to see if there were any £1 clothes. I've not seen any posts about this today....was it a bit of a damp squib?
No £1 clothes in my store... scanned a heck of a lot... but nowt...!!!Meant to say as well, are frogs or toads supposed to be hopping round the garden now? Just went down to the office, it's at the bottom of the garden and has glass floor length doors. In front of it there is a deck and their were two HUGE frogs or toads sitting in front of the doors LOOKING in the office. I turned round a bit sharpish and went back in doors. I am petrified of them!!:eek::eek::eek:DH went down to move them and said they were really dopey, but dopey or not, I'm not going back out there:p we've got a pond but I usually only see them in the summer.
Frongs?? Mine are having an orgy in my pond!!!!! last count was 11.. there's going to be one very unhappy frog!!! :rotfl::rotfl: I just hope they dont try humping my Koi Carps, or I shall be joining the French and eating frogs legs for supper!!!!!Done it and left a comment;)
If someone wants me to to like their posts etc on SSM.... PM me with their names etc... because for the life of me, I cant work out who's who... Ive managed to find some of Nikkilala's posts, and Bensonsmum, but that's about it....0 -
Ladies, there is a 75p of Bodyform on the coupons thread, and they are on special offer for £1 in T's at the mo. Also a £1 off Philadelphia one.
I'm trying to make up for £40 spend for Friday with as many coupons as poss!
Apart from the SSM ones, and the Comfort pure one, are there any other almost freebies?
Hi Debs,
Not free, and I don't know if it is cheap enough for you, but there is a 50p Honey Shreddies coupon on the Printables thread. Currently £2.09 in T and £1.50 in A, so 50p off and 59p back if doing JTD.
Not nearly as good as free packs during Shreddiegate but not too shabby. May be worth getting the coupon in case they go down to £1 again in T at some stage.0 -

Barely call 2 refused DTD's tearing the backside out of DTD :P
These were in my new store today on the 'Reduced to clear' aisle.
My new store seems to be shaping up quite well! Entered this morning with literally £4 in my pocket & armed with SSM tokens, when I walked down the phone aisle and was amazed to find an whole row of home phones with outdated SEL's, dated the 19th.
Picked up on reduced from £105 to £45 or so (can't remember exactly) scanned at £105. Had no money to buy, and SEL checker guy or whatever they're called, with their bleep bleep thing was fast approaching on the next aisle, checking SEL's so missed out
Did pick myself up some wine though, two bottles of this:

and erm.. This too :rotfl::rotfl:

DTD with a smile!
It wasn't necessarily aimed at you just a general warning....however you appear to be trying to get a ban from your new store already...."He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin
