Been to T's and used a few more coupons.I got a £20.XX shop down to £8.XX. No cider promo on up here but I did get a 4 x 330ml pack of Magners Original for slightly less than the 3 for £5 bottles are glitching at so it works out at much of a muchness.:beer:

Also managed to find some 1p BBQ stuff in Tescos but reading on here it is not very nice so will feed to grandkids they eat anything, found them in Bevxxley loads left only took 3 or four bags. Managed to get my shop down from 69 quid to about 38 so not bad going, I did have a Cond. spend coupon of £5 and DD gave me a £10 off a £30 shop coupon so used both with no problems. Ok will probably not post again now till after Op so happy shopping to everyone, hugs to those who need them and will speak soon!!! with me eye patch on!!!

Best of luck with the op. I had 4 eye ops in 2003 ( 3 detached retinas! and one cataract) so know how scary it can be.

btw, i just logged in to check and my account seems fine. since i'm there i'm sharing my pikelet recipe as i just made a batch (more like four batches) for afternoon tea and am now gobbling it all down. Happy pancake day everyone.

why don't they do the 3f£5 deals in Scotland ?

is it because they know getting a fiver out of a scotsman is nigh on impossible, or are there regulations that say scots should pay more for booze to stop them from drinking so much ?

Boots seem to be ironing out any glitches with any coupons as I have had a couple of their own not work properly recently. One was a mailing for £3 off John Frieda colour foam which was third off so advertised as £6.66 so I was expecting to get it for £3.66 but was charged £4.66. Seems computer took off coupon first and then 1/3 off rather than 1/3 off full price.

£10 - £3 = £7 minus 1/3 = £4.66 instead of

£10 minus 1/3 = £6.66 - £3 = £3.66

I'm guessing your SSM voucher for Herbal Essence was taken off full price and then the remainder was then halved?

Also first time ever last thursday my coupon for a free No17 item from ACM did not work in conjuction with their 342, has worked lots of times in past, till said could not use free coupon in conjuction with other offer. So I would suggest we all keep an eye on any coupons you use in Boots regardless of their source. HTHs
