If it was lemon cheescake it was meeee! I will search for it now for you..
Found it!
1 can condensed milk
1 300ml ish pot double cream, or elmlea but not quite as good
3 large or 4 small lemons or limes
base is 225g digestive or ginger biscuits
75g butter
Bash biscuits and melt butter, mix, put in bottom of pan and put in freezer.
For topping , zest and juice the lemons, tip in the condensed milk and cream and whisk, it will thicken really fast.
Get base out of freezer, pour topping on , leave to set 6 hours ish. You can cut up pieces to freeze too.
This feeds 8 people generously so you can halve it too.life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -
They are doing the pound sale again
I got 5 carrier bags of clothes yesterday
Thanks Sanya, definitely one to look out forMrs_Jagger wrote: »Good Morning. Hope this morning finds the pains of yesterday eased slightly for everyone.
Just thought I'd add my bit to this:
Not sure about this - I only put wombles through my 'spare' email, and it seems to work, they don't send them back to my registered address.
I think the point the OP was trying to make, is that if a wombled receipt has had a clubcard used, and that clubcard has an email address registered, any price check results go to that email address, as well as the one you've entered on the price check page. Thereby possibly alerting the loser of the receipt. I may be wrong, but that's how I read it.The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
I have a question for Smart1e
I would like to make your cheesecake with a little alteration.
This is what I want to do, can you tell me if it's possible.
1.Biscuit base
2. Cheesecake topping
3. Jelly with necatarines
How would I put the jelly on top of the cheesecake mix ?
Thanks0 -

I made this at the weekend and this is what I would do.
The cheesecake has to set in the fridge for 6 hours so you would definitely need to do that before attempting to put jelly on it!! Mine didn't set as firm as a bought cheesecake though so bear that in mind if you still want to put jelly on it!!!
I would be inclined to make it in a loose bottomed cake tin lined with cling film, and once the cheesecake has set and you'd arranged your nectarines (or I would use tinned mandarins and an orange jelly) pour the cold jelly really carefully over the top and put back in fridge.
Let us know how you get on if you try it!!My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
